Ash & Woodsmoke is the darkest scent in the range — smoky warmth over something earthy underneath, without the sweetness that creeps into most autumn candles. The wick is wood, so it crackles quietly as it burns. Close your eyes and it is a fire three rooms away.

Hand-poured soy wax in a deep green glass jar with a cork lid and a turn of twine. Around 26 hours of burning. Vegan, paraffin-free, and made in small batches by Greenman Rituals.

Why we love it
It is the only candle we own that smells like the outside coming in.
