Autumn Evenings
The clocks go back on 25 October, and the dark starts drawing in by teatime. We rather like it.
This is what we reach for once the evenings turn: candlelight that doesn't need watching, a lantern by the door, a throw heavy enough to feel like a decision to stay put, and something low and woody in the air. Nothing that asks anything of you.
