Carved Sandstone Oil Burner – Stepped Square

Carved by hand in Jogja on Java, where the craft has been passed down through a single family for generations. The stepped profile gives the piece weight and shadow, and the pale stone keeps it warm rather than severe.

Light a tealight beneath, and set a wax melt or a few drops of essential oil in the dish above. Stone holds its heat, so the fragrance releases slowly and evenly.

Grain and tone vary from piece to piece.

Natural Indonesian sandstone. Use with a standard tealight and your favourite melts or oils.
